We’ve been seeing that between 10 and 20 percent of people accessing our client’s websites have been doing so through their smart phone, mainly Android, then I-Phone and I-Pad. But now comes a survey that shows one fourth of smart phone users only surf the web using their phone. According to the Washington Post, these are mostly minorities under thirty and in lower income brackets. In other words, people who can’t afford both a phone and a home or laptop computer.
Beyond that, about 90% of smart phone owners visit the internet at least once per day to at least check their email. I know I access the web on my smart phone now when I’m sitting on the patio or watching TV, or waiting for an appointment. How do you use your smart phone to surf the net?
